Diabetic Dessert Recipes: Cream Cheese Frosting
This is an excellent diabetes cream cheese topping for all flavors of cakes, cupcakes and pies!
Ingredients
4 oz fat free cream cheese
1/3 cup SPLENDA, granulated
1 teaspoon lemon juice, freshly bought
2 teaspoon lemon peel , freshly grated
1 tsp vanilla flavored extract
Instructions
1 Vigorously mix all ingredients together until you have a thick, creamy consistency. Refrigerate the topping until ready to use.
2 Dairy Free Variation: Substitute non-dairy cream cheese instead of the regular type.
